Unlike most rear projection and flat panel display systems, SCRAMscreens® absorb ambient light.  While other display systems reflect light, causing reflections and glare, SCRAMscreens® are easily viewable in even the harshest lighting environments.

The SCRAMscreen® technology consists of layers of optically clear plastic separated by a black cladding material.  The black layers of cladding absorb, rather than reflect ambient light resulting in a very high contrast image with almost no surface glare.  Like a fiber optic, there is very little light loss, resulting in high brightness and extraordinary efficiency of the projected light source.

When used with SCRAM Technologies’ proprietary optic system, images can be compressed in the vertical plane, allowing for a very thin display form factor.  Utilizing a light-directing film, the projected image is directed INTO, rather than onto the screen, with the SCRAMscreen® becoming an integral component of the optical train. 

SCRAMscreens® are available in sizes ranging from 26” to 220” (16:9 aspect ratio) and 42” to 130” (4:3 aspect ratio).

SCRAMscreens® can be customized to a variety of sizes and can be tiled together almost seamlessly to produce large-scale, high-resolution display screens.
